Just got my Buzz 4500, and was wondering if there is any setting where I can control the dimming level of the red and blue power LED light on the front of the box, becomes very distracting when viewing movies late @ night! thanks for any help Tenno

Does anyone know how to setup the wifi when you are in a hotel? On a laptop when you connect to the hotel wifi it will opens a google window that prompts you for you last name and your room number. Is there anyway of doing this with this model? It does show that there is a user input required. Thanks!

Xrs 4500 Buzz Tv 5 Is there a way to disable catch up? I would like to use Time shift but it doesn't work on Catch up Channels. It defaults to the catch up when pausing on a catch up channel and the Default or Secondary player wont play my providers catch up. So while it pauses the screen, when you restart it says it cant be played and jumps back to live TV. None Catch Up channels work fine as the Time Shift kicks in and records to the Box. Any help is appreciated.

Is there a way to mark Vod/series as watched when viewed with an eternal player on Buzz 5?

Freezing error sometimes and need to restart to fix it. Xrs4500 model fully updated version.

Hello, I currently have a XRS4500 max and want to watch Peacock TV but I live in Canada. Can someone please help me in how I go about installing a VPN so that I can do this? Or perhaps you know of another way. Thank for all the help.

Just got my Buzztv XRE4500...works great..im still waiting for my Buzztv 5 "2015" update..added a ticket for QUE.. Is there a way to stop running apps from home screen ? or do they just shut down after closing them

Having issues with the Bluetooth capabilities of this remote. Although the remote remains paired (IR) in the settings, it does not maintain its Bluetooth pairing. It only stays Bluetooth connected for a minute or so before reverting back to just regular IR. Reconnecting to Bluetooth then becomes an issue, sometimes freezing the whole system until the Bluetooth pairing functionality stops the pairing process (gives up) unconnected. After numerous attempts it will connect via Bluetooth only to lose connection within 5 minutes max. Can anyone suggest ideas on a problem I have. Using xrs4500 TV4 with nov update. Hard wired. All worked fine until the last couple of days. Now Live TV is fine, but VOD is constantly crashing. An hour show might go down 3 times. Then I restart the episode & it is good until the next crash. When than happens a brief message comes on screen saying 2.4 Hz, or occasionally 5.9Hz. Buzz settings have autoframe rate set for auto. Thanks

I log onto api with all credentials, it connects i get all guided and channels but nothing comes on, i get the wheel spinning in the middle of the screen? if i use an app iptv gotv to log on everything works with that app only, but no picture with the standard buzz tv live tv shorcut?

Is there anyway to use external player like vlc for live TV? My providers catch up will not work with the default or secondary player but does work with their xciptv app with vlc as the player. On XRS4500 with buzz tv5

Hello everyone... Just wanting to know... A lot of my clients are experiencing a lot of freezing when watching live tv and stuff, not really an issue with my service provider in the past, they've been pretty solid. But I contacted them none the less to see what's up. I was assured that the problem not them, and was probably coming from the box we are using. I was told that no freezing from a rival box to buzz, and that I should look into that. Not too sure what's up. Which player do you guys find better to, or should use...? I have the xrs4500....I’ve been told by BuzzTV technician to record a program .....to download to an external hard drive (when I record directly to the box it does not work). when I playback the recording from the external hard drive ....there is an audio delay by about 7 seconds. Very frustrating.... how can I fix this delay? thank you

The download function does not work for me. I get the message “cannot download this movie”. I have tried downloading to both, the internal storage, and to an external USB, and changed the settings in options, to direct where it record. I have tried numerous programs, and from two different servers. Any help is appreciated.

This might be a dumb question but I need to ask! I used to use my Buzz box as a MAG device only. I love the setup as everything is is simple and automated. My old provider shut down last year and I went with another provider who didn't offer MAG access so I had to install IPTV Smarters using a username and password. I didn't like the picture quality as well but I noticed the data usage was extremely low compared to using my box as a MAG device. When using as a MAG device I would have to disconnect for many hours per day to not exceed my data cap. I can leave the television streaming 24/7 using the IPTV Smarters app and I never come close to reaching my data cap. Is…

So I recently got this box and the first day I synced the remote without struggle but I noticed after a while the remote started to un sync and the buttons would no longer work. I followed the steps again to sync the remote and it is no longer syncing I’ve tried these same steps i did yesterday but the only buttons that seem to work are the power and source . Is there a way to troubleshoot the remote or anything I need help ASAP

I have half of my epg showing no epg available or no information.tried clear epg, clear data , clear cash and even factory reset and reload updates. it looks like it is on the server end as this happens on all our units.could you look into this for us please. thank you

Channels freeze up and rewind itself to replay the same scene multiple times over throughout the entire program every 5-10min. Also have some channels that have no sound and the channel info is almost wrong 50% of the time. Any recommendations? Buzz XR4500
