XR4500 / XRS4500 / XRS4500 MAX

Have couple of these boxes. They stopped connecting to livetv server last Thursday. A third one in a friends home also in a different home and a different live tv server also stopped working around the same time. Did buzztv send a update that broke the livetv app?

Hello All, Has anyone noticed that if you use the GREEN button on remote and save a VOD for watching later. But if its been few months and then you get back to it by accessing your Favorites list - and hit PLAY on it - it does not stream. Workaround here is to remove it from favorites. Search that VOD again and start streaming. Is there any fix for this? Thanks!

Hi guys ,I downloaded the other day the buzztv beta system update 2.220914 ,FW version V20220919 , and the IPTV version 5.0.779 and I saw that the box doesn't come back from the stand by mode, I have to unplug it from the wall to get the box back to life 😐 is there any official update coming for the xrs4500?,I'm still testing it since I got this beta few days a go but this is the most annoying bug that I see for now.

First time setting up a box, I tried going through the API login, and the server didn’t respond. Then I put in a bunch of M3U address and they worked, however, if I want to go from live tv to something else, I have to go into the server setting and connect onto whichever file I want to watch and wait for it to connect. Is this normal? mine problem I think it might be is I didn’t pick a file to save it to, which file do I select. It seems like whenever I pick a file it erases the playlist URL.

AtI just got 2 xrs4500 boxes, I’m looking for a provider especially for sports, and one that the rec and playback functions will work. Any suggestions?

Hi. I have a few xrs 4500 boxes. But one box in particular. The blue led emblem on the box remains blue after turning it off. On my other 2 boxes it turns red. Any idea how to fix this?

Hello everyone, I just tried to record my first program and have a run into an issue. The PVR shows that the program was recorded. However when I try to play it nothing happens not quite sure what is going on My buzz box has the latest update. Any help appreciated. Thanks.....

Hi I have an issue and I’m wondering if anyone has a fix to it. So basically I think my ISP is blocking the main service I use from working for me at certain times. For the first month from when I bought the service this would never happen and now it is just beginning to happen very frequently. So I got a VPN to see if it would fix the issue and it hasn’t. This isn’t a provider issue because earlier this summer when I was with another provider this same issue was happening. And even then it worked smoothly when I first bought it then the same thing started happening like a month or so after I got the service. So I’m just wondering does anybody have any solutions that mig…

I have a 4500 max and while watching live tv it keeps randomly going blank then coming back on. Usually only a second or 2 every few minutes. Im using wifi connection and at 300mps download. Any idea on the cause or is a repair needed?

Hi I have a Buzz XRS 4500 and there has been a issue where on some channels when ever the audio is set to English, 5.1 Surround Sound the screen just goes blank and says “Unknown Stream Error” but when I disable the audio, the screen and pictures comes on but then I have no audio. So can anybody help or have any idea on how to fix this issue.

WiFi turns off after10 seconds? Also when on, does not see any available WiFi networks? I downloaded Buzz tv 5 but not sure problem related to BT5 as I usually do not use WiFi. Will be travelling next month so will need WiFi. Thanks for your help Bryan

I bought a BuzzTV XRS4500 box yesterday and set everything up. It was working yesterday night and this morning. When I went to turn it on this afternoon, the box won't turn on and the front indicator light won't turn on also. I'm assuming this is an issue with the box itself but just wondering if anyone else ran into the same issue and was able to figure it out?

Hello All, First time trying to install the XBOX gaming app on BUZZ box. I was able to go to the store and install the XBOX app. When I start the app it requires me to login. But on clicking the Login button nothing happens. There is also a button for 'Having trouble logging in' but even on clicking that nothing happens. What could I be missing? I have xrs4500 and the remote stopped working. Tried batteries etc then used it on another xrs4500 that I have and it does work. It seems like the box is not receiving the remote. I powere off/on multiple times and nothing then I tried to reset the box. I got to reset screen but unable to use remote to select options. I have multiple remotes so it is definitely the box. Any suggestions. I think I need to send it back, only about 1 year old.

While watching HBO signature East in English TV will all of a sudden switch to HBO signature in Spanish. Not the same movie.

It's setup to default settings that is the home screen. Why does it go to server settings?

In the old version, the info bar showed how much time a program was into. This is now gone?

I noticed that when I record a program on the XRS4500 box, the audio and video are not synchronized. Video is behind. Is there any way to fix this? I should point out that my software is up to date. Peter

Seem to be having problem with remote? My box is XRS 4500 had it for 16 month got this problem that when I press the green stb button on the remote to turn off it switches to the home screen then when I press the livetv button it starts to load the portal and channel list. It dose this for a for a few time then it switches the box off as normal. Cant remeber every changing any settings it been running good could the remote be the problem? Any of you also had this problem? Thank's

(First-ever post) Hey - I'm accustomed to my PVR, and I'm therefore annoyed by several of the features/functions (and failures) of this service. I'd be grateful for a little help, please... The device came to me BNIOB on Thu. afternoon. The first thing I did was run a search for the show title to discover which channel it was on. Yep - it popped right up. Excellent.
