XR4500 / XRS4500 / XRS4500 MAX

Hi all. I'm having a problem with my XRS4500. It gives me the error message "Cannot load portal: Incorrect user name or password." This started a couple of days ago. I initially restarted it by holding the power button down and selecting restart. That didn't fix it. I then did the hard reset with a toothpick in the aux portal: Selected clear cache/ factory reset, and let it do it's thing. Came right back to the same error message after I paired the remote and tried to log in. I'm at a loss as to how to go forward from here. I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks.

I have had all kinds of problems with my XR4500. After about a month I have to do a factory re-boot, last time was for "BUZZTV keeps stopping" & BUZZ TV not responding" After I reboot, I cannot get some channels back, I live in Canada, but watch a lot of British TV shows, I had the channel prior to the error and reboot, but it like a couple of other channels have dropped off, also audio is not working on a lot of channels Any suggestions?

I have an XR 4500 system 5. I finally got the pvr working thanks to a download fron Buzz but it only stores properly on internal memory which is 10GB. I have a properly formatted 60GB USB stick for external. How do I transfer files(movies) from internal to external? The 10 GB fills up quickly (actually 7GB because of apps) and why doesn't the external storage work directly? When I use it, it only records 5 to 25 minutes and then shuts down or doesn't record at all. Should I use a 32 GB?

I have the Buzz 4500, is there a way to pause live tv? seems like that would be an obvious feature but I don't think it has it....just want to confirm. and if not, is there a model that has that feature?

I have a Buzztv XR4500 that would only give a red light on the front of the unit. I opened the box up and did a pin short on the main chip and the box then powered up and I was able to use it. I noticed that the box seemed quite sluggish so I attempted a hard reset by pushing the reset button in the A/V port to get to the recovery menu. I then attempted to do a factory data reset on the box... It just stayed there forever... The box now powers up but just stays at the Buzztv logo. Is there any way to fix this? Is there any file I can attempt to load onto the box from external SD card to make this thing work again?? Yes I know I should not have attempted to do a …

Hi,I have the BB XR4500.Had it for about three month.We record a 3 hour show every Sunday morning.First 5-6 weeks,perfect but for the last few it records fine but will not play back Any suggestions ??? thanks

This may be of interest to anyone with an older TV. Mine is 7 yr old samsung with 1080p & no HDR. I love Buzz, but have had less than perfect picture (TV 4 & 5 beta) regardless of what settings I tried on my 4500. Yesterday I t activated game mode on TV & it made a huge improvement in picture quality for both live TV & VOD. Very happy now, and the only downside is wife won't let me buy a new tv like I wanted.

Hi, Since last few days sound suddenly stopped working , video works fine. I did power cycled, rebooted, changed HDMI cable/port but nothing worked so far. Please let me know what should I do next. Thanks

Hi all this is my first post so I hope this is allowed, I recently renewed my subscription with a provider I have used for a few years now. I believe my BuzzTv box was recently updated to Buzz 5 ( not sure if its beta or not but I know I didn't update it Beta ) Anyways I still had a few days left over from my previous subscription. But since the update i have had connection issues, It would try to connect and then say cannot load portal. I would reboot and the same thing. I would then leave it for a few hours come back to it and it would work. But it has kicked me out and frozen on me since. Hi all. I have been away from this site for a while. For 4500xrs is the latest software still the Beta from early January? New topic: I was having problems on live TV watching catchup videos. I dont recall every seeing a solution, but since then found out by accident that catchup works fine with secondary player (but not the default live tv setting)

If anyone can respond quickly I have a question. On my Buzz XRS 4500 sometimes when I try to use live tv using XC API Login i get the a message that says cannot load portal: failed to connect to (then it’s the url and ip of the server and my own) after 10000 MS. If anyone can help it’d be much appreciated.

Hi I have one question. Most of the channels aren't showing a channel logo on my buzz xrs4500. But on my phone or any of the my other devices I use they show all of the logos. So I was wondering is there anything I could do so all the channel logos are being shown?

Is there a way to rearrange the apps on the homepage other than the default alphabetical. I would like to move the apps I use the most to the front of the line rather than be lined up alphabetical

How to change weather location on home screen ??...i did fix my location in settings..but still shows wrong location on weather in home screen

recently they updated the plex app new version..but is causing problems..when trying to play any media from library ..plex shuts down..is only doing it on xrs4500..i have a shield has no problem..also on plex tv app no problems...did a fresh uninstall on plex & tried older versions of plex but has horrible mobile display not functional with buzz box..try to use tv display on plex but doesnt work

so i am trying out TiviMate for the first time on my BuzzTV xrs4500 and 4 days into my free trial period...TiviMate keeps freezing/crashing my box..i have uninstalled /re-installed four different times and the same thing happens...freezes up the guide then crashes. each time i un-installed and ran my other service...box worked flawlessly....any ideas why?....

I mainly got the box for IPTV but was wondering how well it works with the PLEX app.. how is it with 4k quality on plex.. are there problems with the hd audio ?
