XR4500 / XRS4500 / XRS4500 MAX

Hi just got 2 buzz vidstick max and set everything up. If I'm using the remote and stop using it when I try to use it again it will not work at all. I had to do a reset on the stick repair the remote and then it will work...as soon as I stop using it and try again it will not work. This is happening on both sticks

I just bought a new Buzz TV XRS4500 box. I'll watch LiveTV and then when I got to VOD, the thumbnails will load for some and then buffering will start and it'll get stuck on VOD. If I try to switch to LiveTV, it'll take me to the channel but won't load - so no picture, no sound. Just freezes. It won't even let me reconnect to the server. I have to reboot the box. I know this isn't my service as I was using a different box prior to this and had no issues. I also have a Buzz TV XPL3000 (which I love and that's why decided to get the XRS4500). Any help you can provide would be very much appreciated.

i came home after work to discover the one month old Buzztv SRX4500max 'froze' it would not shut down. I unplugged the unit, waited and plugged it back in after the initial splash screen and the bottom menu appears the background can be seen but nothing overlaid. When I hit the power button text briefly appears 'Shutting down...' then it freezes and is no longer responsive was an update pushed out or something? short of a factory reset what (if anything) can I do ? frustrating because otherwise i have been very happy with this unit! R

Hello, I have always had an Rii remote with every box and had no issues. I plugged it into my Buzztv box it "works" but I can't just one screen "back out" from any screen anymore. I have to hit the home button on the Rio and it takes me ALL the way out and I have to go find my channel again, or try and continue what I was doing before and hope I don't have to just "go back one screen Thank you for the help

Hello, how do I remove all the countries? I only want to see USA and Canada. But my epg is loaded with thousands of channels. I have tivimate and it is nice set up, but I don't know how to do it on the buzz app. Thank you

Hello everyone.... This is geared mostly to the Buzz Techs, but if anyone has any info, I truly do appreciate it in advance... Any idea when the next update will be for the 4500s, to address the double programs in the guide and the BuzzTV 5 upgrade. Thanks...

how to turn off screen mirroring buzztv xrs4500

Had my box for 2 weeks now been trying to do a backup today but its not doing it tried 2 different usb sticks and a sd card I let it run for 50 mins but no joy. Can anybody get theirs to backup if so how?? Thanks Ray

Quick question. I have a XRS4500 MAX box all setup just how I like everything to be, I made a USB flash drive backup of it. My question is: Today I am getting a new XRS4500 Ultra for a second box. Can I use the backup I made for the XRS4500 Max and just load that onto my new XRS4500 Ultra in the restore function? If I can my new XRS4500 Ultra would be all setup just the way I like everything without me having to go into all the settings and set everything up again.XRS

I have an XR4500, and for the past 5 days I've been having issues with my Server line, where it hangs at either Checking portal, or if it makes it past that, at Loading channel list. I've been in contact with the provider support, but am going nowhere fast. I can open up the portal in a browser from my network with no issues. I've also verified that I have the latest device firmware, and app software. I am connected via ethernet directly to my modem, but it makes no difference if I try switching to WiFi. Anyone have any ideas?

What is going on? Tonight whenever I hit my live TV button it just takes me to the server setup screen, EPG is doing the same thing.

how to i uninstall this useless netflix app from my buzztv xrs 4500

Device takes a bit to log on to the apps, and when it does it buffers a lot freezes.I know what you are going to tell me. That it's on my end. However all my other devices (Nvidia, Fire Cube, Meecool KM6 Deluxe and Magicsee N6 Plus) are working fine on the same network and same apps. I have already rebooted everything including the Modem, router, and the device. Same thing happening. Wi Fi Speed is over 200. Thanks.

My xrs4500 stop working and I cannot see anything the arrow keeps turning round , and if I try to watch a series it says no stream available

When you want to move an icon, you long press on it, the move dialogue come up, you press on move. Then how do you move it ?

Just curious, what the /c switch does on servers? Example. My servers never needed the /c with buzz box before ( only with MAG etc ) now all of a sudden it requires it. What does the /c accomplish? I assume its a switch command of some kind? Thanks

Is there any way to create/program a button enabling screen saver, just one click button......going to settings all the time is cumbersome. When listening to the radio streams it is helpful. Thanks

I was wondering if there is a difference between Server Line, Streaming Line and M3U regarding functionality. If I have an IPTV provider that offers all 3, is there a preferred method of connecting and if so, why? Thanks.

Trying to figure out what processes are not necessary to run the 4500 I've disabled some.. camera, calendar and a few others I know of some that are not needed but would like to know more..

Hi, my xrs4500 when pushing the power key button on the remote it will not suspend like it was before this is with the remote that came with the device as well as the one I purchased here the ARQ-100. I have tried rebooting changing the power key definition to shut down it does that, and it will restart with both remotes, I have unplugged it for a few minutes it has the same Issue not suspending.

My old BuzzTV XPL3000 had an brush / broom icon which you could select on the main screen to clean the memory and stop all running apps. I believe you could also do this on old MyGica boxes by holding down the guide button for more than 3 seconds. Is there a feature such as this on the BuzzTV xrs4500 either on screen or by holding down a button on the remote? Thanks

Anybody can shed some light on color depth setting. One of my BuzzTV boxes switches it on from time to time and if it does all is green. Thanks.
