  1. So the error might be because of this If you backed up on V965 for example Factory Reset the box, it re-installs V940 as that is whats pre installed on our latest Android 11 firmwares You have to wait to get V965 or higher to restore as an update. As you cannot restore a backup from a newer version onto an older version
  2. Are you using a Wifi Mesh Network in your house? Usually called Pods, some ISP provide them Or Amazon eero or Google Wifi is similar The box could be connecting to a pod that is further away and switching between one that is closer/further (back and forth basically) I think of Router settings its called Band Steering Can try turning that off, to see if it helps This would be done on the router itself Not the box
  3. On mac,xc or m3u server?
  4. V5.0.967 New Buzz 5 App Update May 6th, 2026 Changes: - Bug Fixes from 965 on TV Series on some Mac Servers - Crash Fixes from 965 Sent to Android 9 and 11 Devices Please leave feedback below.
  5. You can just clear data of the Buzz 5 app in Android Settings To avoid a reset of the box itself
  6. When you reset, it re-installs the pre installed version on the Firmware Which right now on all Android 11 models is V940 It takes about 10-20 mins to see the newer version for an update As we send App Updates separately from Firmware. Glad to hear it worked

It fails to mention that Google Approves all updates and fully controls the ecosystem and basically everything about Google TV goes through them. SEI cannot do anything basically without Googles Approval We have to get all Marketing approved by them for example
  8. Fixed Try it now

When I mentioned the Menu button, I was referring to our other remotes/boxes such as BT-250,350,400,500 IR200 Google TV does not use a Menu button as their App Guidelines do not require it, and that remote control is the G20 which is owned and designed by Google When selling Google TV as a manufacturer, you have 2 choices of Remote G10 and G20 G10 is similar just has no channel #s or color buttons and about half the size

Google Makes the Firmware and does the updates SEI just makes the box We have no direct control over what Google does and doesn't do based on the country the box is being used in.

Yes this is what we plan to do, this type of Wire Frame/Layout/Nav for Google TV But doing this will take time to complete, its months of work.

Ok I get what you mean And I see the confusion On all of our Buzz Apps since 2015 Buzz 2,4,5,6(on P6 and Classic AI) We designed the entire apps around our remotes to function with shortcut buttons for guide, live, vod, server, menu button So the navigation is different when you're used to Google TV Apps. If you own any of our other non google tv models, you will see what I mean. Google TV changed the entire way that TV app guidelines should work for navigation, and the remotes do not have a menu button Its focused on L to R and R to L navigation + the back button So we were able to get approved to be in the Playstore with our current implementation We will improve on this though in future updates We do plan to make one of the Color buttons open that grid guide on a new update very soon
