Yes you did. Just blowing steam. I promised some units this weekend and was setting them up and saw the CC locked on. No worries, I understand these issues take time to resolve. And thanks for your replies to try settings.

I signed out, and actually learned about 3rd party subtitles on that web site for VOD and Series The issue is all Live TV channels are defaulted to Subtitles "AUTO" They need to be defaulted to "Disabled" as all the Buzz units I have tested and are using. This Buzz6 has "AUTO" what is Auto ? Automatic Display of subtitles ? Makes no sense to me, sorry. Maybe the Software can be updated to default all loaded Live TV to "Disabled" ??

Created Account, same issue (there is No Setting to Turn Off subtitles other than the embedded function of each channel, but those setting do not hold.) The Opensubtitles.com are for VOD and TV Series Decoding in different languages, not Live TV CC However, changing the font size here does change the CC displayed font size. This is obviously a software issue with this model box. Can you please forward and have the firmware coding correct this please ? There is no way on our end to correct it other than to every time you turn on the box you have to disable the subtitles on 1 channel which is ridiculous. thanks

Thank you nbs on a new box the "Online Subtitles" 3 separate selections "Login", "Preferred Subtitle Language", " Clear Subtitles Cache" ,are defaulted to "Signed out" Since this function of Subtitles are inactive due to "signed out", they should not be active. And since Close Captions are not Subtitles, what does this have to do with what this issue is ? Subtitles are for a detailed on screen decoding in a different language. CC is listed under the Buzz System Settings, and turned off. Close Captions are appearing all the time on every Live Channel until you go into 1 channel and "Disable" Subtitles Then the CC for that channel stops, shows "disabled" however all other channels also have no more CC showing but the Subtitles are still in "AUTO". turn the box off or change to another App, and the issue returns. DO you want me to perform a free "OpenSubtitles" account ? No other model Box requires this in prior models. You have to go to www.opentitles.com and create an account and login to actually get a Login. Larry

On Live TV the CC Function defaults to Auto on every channel System Settings has Accessibility/Captions/ OFF Every channel has Subtitles defaulted to Auto. (Close Caption is really not Subtitles) If you press green button on BT350 remote, you bring up the Subtitles and Audio settings. While you are in this menu press Disabled then back out, all the other channels still have Auto enabled but CC is now OFF. All channels fixed with no CC after doing this procedure untill you back out of Live TV and go to VOD or any other App then come back in to Live TV, same CC issue. Firmware V20260402 VERSION 1.0.347 software Every time I check a new model out first time I always find some kind of glitch. Anyone that can assist would be appreciated, thank you
  6. Typo yes, Shutdown I use to turn off the X5 and the TV Using Suspend or Standby has issues with this Model Thanks for the typo
  7. Follow up to Post Nov. 15,2025 X5 models I purchased had to turn off "Standby" and change to "Suspend" Boxes reboot every single time at power on with no issues Issue was never resolved from using "StandBy" Buzz has not acknowledged this is a chipset issue or firmware issue
  8. Update: Hard reset did not correct the "no power on using IR or Bluetooth in AM after using "suspend" prior night to turn off" So after Not Using "suspend" change to "Power Down" & "Power On" seems this is a bypass of the issue. I did try the units on another TV to see if it was the CEC signal causing it not to come out of "suspend", and no difference. Sometimes next day, stuck in red LED state, with no "wake from suspend" The Hard reset may have corrected the unit from disconnecting from WIFI after using "suspend" and getting the unit to power on next day to find there is no internet connected, only WIFI "saved"
  9. Reset performed, time will tell. Thanks for suggestions
  10. got it
  11. XRS4500 older unit video shows, is the procedure the same for X5 ?
  12. ok thanks will try it
  13. Not sue Emporium, I am having issue with both units so lets see what they recommend
  14. Thanks for responding Buzz wants to see the units, so I am shipping them back. I provided photos and they would like to reproduce the issues.
  15. I do not see a way to actually "shut off" bluetooth, so I unpaired the remotes. Now that I am using IR and set power to "standby" the Blue LED stays on in "standby" When remotes were paired with bluetooth, and powere was set to "standby" the blue power LED changed to red. So turning off bluetooth should not have any bearing on the power LED in "standby" indicating there is now a different function controlling "standby" On other models this is not the csse. Bluetooth ON, power to "standby" when activated, power LED goes red. I will try iin this config to see if the dropping WIFI is also corrected. thanks
