XR4000 / XRS4000

Looks like my ship has sunk. Somehow I have lost all of my strart up information. Now the machine on ly boots up to the main page and wont go any farther. Now instead of displaying my channels, it goes to the Brazil channel list. I have tried rebooting, restartingnd even booted up in Safe Mode,. Any ideas? Please dont kick me too hard, I'm old and feeble. I have checked my server info, and it all looks OK. Thanks

Just installed Bell fiber 1.5 gb download and now my box is acting up..2.4G is not showing any connection, only the 5G and freezing every so often..All other devices in my home shows all wifi connections...Can someone please advise

Please help. When I select some ppv movies it displays "Media format is not supported ". I am using a BuzzTV XRS4000. Is there another Media player that can be downloaded and installed to fix this problem?

I have a couple Xrs4500 one of them is having all kinds of issues it keeps randomly shutting down and restarting and is running very slow I have had it for about 2 years it's been a great box. How do I reset it and start over new?

Hi, When started my Xr4000 it only shows a google search bar at the top of the screen and three icons at the bottom left side, a speaker icon, a album icon and a play store icon. I dont see the BuzzTV menu like I should. I tried a factory reset and no change. I contacted BuzzTV support but wanted to see if anyone else has seen this and if so a possible fix.

Hello, Can anyone suggest how to resolve this issue? The box had an update last night, not sure what the update was when I powered up the box. After the update the box restarted and when it powered back up it would no longer finish booting in Live TV, it just ends up going to the Server Settings page and shows "Cannot load portal: rate must be positive". The box is connected via wifi and that is working. Thank you. Raymond

I buy a buzz TV box from a guy few years ago and he past away recently the box expired in a few days I needed help getting it reprogrammed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Team, Buzz TV 5 app was working great before but now it's just constant issues (listed below by priority) - Random Freeze and then App Crashes (High - Multiple times in a Day) - Cannot Decode Stream (VOD / LIVE TV - High). Sol: restart the IPTV box and than it works fine. Never had this before on previous versions, - Random LIVE TV channel don't work (Medium ). No matter how many times i restart it. - Random Buffering / Lagging (VOD & LIVE TV) = Even connected hardwired to the box and getting speed of 70~98 Mbps. I'm currently having an issue with the VOD section on my Buzztv XR4000. My daughter pressed the "Hide All" button in the Organize Categories pop up menu. Now when I go into VOD section, nothing loads. When I try to bring up the pop up window by pressing the red button twice, nothing happens. The box recongizes my remote prompts. I'm not sure why the pop up menu works if you have at least one category active but doesn't pop up if they are all hidden. I'm at a loss at how I should try to correct this.

Hello. I cannot find any information about this subject so in a slightly desperate way I have looked to this forum. Recent purchase of "quality" smart box in hopes that it would perform as a general media centre. Including media on USB sticks etc as well as streaming content. I have two self powered 6TB USB drives and have plugged both of these into the higher spec port provided. In both cases the box appears to be somewhat dismissive of the devices and has pretty much rejected both and even rebooted several times. Ok now before you try and blame the service it isn't the service for this issue. Basically what happens is the sound just randomly cuts out on my buzz tv box only. Now I have my providers app as well and when the sound cuts out on my TV using my BuzzTV box the sound is perfectly fine still on their app and doesn't cut out. This isn't an issue with the provider because it only happens on the BuzzTV box! Basically what happens is the sound just randomly cuts out and I still have video but no audio and then it just randomly comes back again. This is most definately an issue with the BuzzTV box itself. Hi my buzz tv4500 was not respoding to the remote so i bought the ARQ100 remote now the box works other than i cant turn it on or off unless i unplug the box . Then once i plug it back in everything works until such time to shut it off and it wont until i unplug it does anyone else have the same

Just wondering how long the Backup function takes. I tried it this morning and after about an hour or so, it was still showing as backing up. Had to cycle power so I could watch TV.\ Does the backup save all recorded video files that are stored in internal storage as well recordings that are already on the USB memory sticK?

Hi, my XRS 4000 has 32 GB ram. Assuming my "alternate" IPTV source is sending me 1080P, can anyone comment as to the approximate internal storage space available for recording movies? I recorded a 3 hour movie last night, and had a 2nd recording scheduled for a bit later and it didn't record, so I was wondering if there wasn't enough space left. Also, how can I see how much memory is available and how much is "used" in the recording folder in internal storage? Is there an app for that? Thx in advance

I use a streaming app plugin. There are streams marked "HDR", and when I play them the video colors look fine. However, there are streams NOT marked "HDR", and when I play them the colors look great! I think either my Buzz TV box or the actual TV settings isn't configured correctly for HDR streams. Can anybody help me with this? Note my TV is set to "Adaptive HDR".

If I'm recording live TV, can I watch another channel on an app (DAZN) at the same time?

I have two XRS4000 boxes that intermittently freeze with the spinning circle. It occurs frequently and makes it impossible to watch TV. Multiple times, I have done the toothpick hard reset, cleared the cache, etc. but the boxes continue to freeze with the spinning circle. I disconnected the XRS4000 boxes and went back to my two dreamLink T1 boxes that I used before upgrading to buzztv. When I do this, the dreamLink T1 boxes work flawlessly with no issues. I have gone back and forth between these boxes a few times now and the problem always follows the XRS4000 boxes and the older dreamLink T1 boxes work fine. I do not think this is a hardware problem with my box but I'm desperate for a solution and you guys all seem pretty darn smart. My new IPTV service called instaplay was supposed to be an improvement over Dexter unfortunately I've had nothing but grief and a tech support guy can't seem to help me. I recently updated to Buzz 5 (firmware V20220105 on my XRS4000) Don't have "user organize" option for favorite channel order. Added another channel to my favorites and wanted to move it. Clicked the green button and selected "favorites" which was a mistake. Should've clicked the blue button. Cause when I do now they're in the correct order but that doesn't change with the order in epg or live TV.

Help!! I am stuck at the Server Settings screen an I can select is froma short menu window that pops up.creen. Ptessing the buttons just comes back to the choice of ZC API LOGIN, M3U, lor the + sign. (Sorry abouit the typing but my keyboard is on the blink here. Soft and hard reboots just bring me back to the server setup screen.
