U5

Has anyone had any luck at installing the Peacock apk on there U5 box? If you did could you tell me how you did it?

I have a U5 that is all setup just the way I like everything. My question is if I buy a second U5 could I take the backup I made of my first U5 and install that backup on my second U5 and would everything be the same on both boxes? I have programs like a VPN, iPTV providers, Speed test sites and a few other programs that are all setup, this would make everything a lot easier if I could use this backup to setup my second U5. Is this possible?

Hello fellow BuzzTV users. I'm experiencing stability issues with my U5 where it will either reboot itself or feeeze at random intervals. I have done a hard reset through the boot loader twice now. Does anyone have the problem that the updates, favorites channels aren't the same on the home page when trying to move them into place? not there in the guide the numbers aren't in order like before on the home page. locked channels require a password every time when changing to a different channel, nothing in setting like before not to ask.

I got a update on my U5 and seen that there is radio stations on it now but nothing on my 4900 box can anyone know why.

The U5, what are the USA power requirements for the U5 in regards to amperage? Does it require more for hard drive usage? Does it matter internal or external on amp ratings? I did find one post that stated that the U5 power supply is 12v 1.5amps, is that true? I lost my power supply in a move. Thank you.

I have somehow unpaired my Vidstick ST4000 & my Vidstick Max from the remote control, so when the sticks boot up, I can't get off the home screen to settings or do anything. Does anyone know how to factory reset without the remote, as I'm hoping one of first things it does is ask me to pair the remote (using OK & Volume down buttons)?

I have try on my srevices which i have 3 different ones and since the last update i only get couple of minutes i have the 32g one and i have try the bottom bay and the 4 usb on the side i have also have been successful on tivimate and my 4900 and xrs 4500

Since the last update i don't get all reconding when i set something to reconding but when i do it on my 4900 i get my whole reconding

How long is it taking people to do a Backup on the U5? The reason I am asking is because it only take me abut 3 seconds to do a Backup on my U5. On all my 4500 boxes ( I have 3 of these) it usually take me almost 45 minutes to do a Backup on each one of these. Am I doing something wrong on the U5 or is it really that fast to do a Backup on the U5 (3 seconds)?

Does this box ever have updates? The last one was in April. I would think there would be software updates and new stuff in the updates periodically.

Hello everyone, I was wondering if i could get some help on this. There are a few option for U5, one of which is to SUSPEND an other one to RESTART and one more SHUTDOW/Turn OFF in power management. I use SUSPEND all the time since its much faster to wake up the unit after its been turned off and not to wait for the LOGO load on the screen. The problem is and its been happening consistently since i bought it about 6 months ago. 1. Restart the unit. 2. Turn it to SUSPEND = turning off U5, it will go into a "sleep" mode which will allow it to turn back ON much faster. 3. Watch a few movies. Does not matter in which format or length but usual…

After about 5-10 minutes some channels will freeze then restart, others will throw an error "stream unavailable" then start again. Same issue on multiple servers and multiple boxes. It also happens on my XRS4900. Tried using MAC Server, Lock ISP, now removed all links. What happened to the Buzz Technical Forum managed by them ?

Hi, I have a U5 with the included hard drive installed. My issue is after about an hour the unit loses its wifi connection. I’ve tried to connecting through Ethernet and it still loses its connection. If i unplug the unit I can then reconnect it.After reconnection it will lose the connection after about an hour! Any ideas or suggestions?What is Buzz TVs warranty as I have only had this unit about a month. Thanks,Rod

Buzztv U5 128GB When my TV turns off my U5 turns off as well, when I turn my TV back on my U5 also turns back on to the last channel I was on, but I cannot change the channel or volume it won’t go back to the home screen it is stuck until I unplug the unit an plug it back in, Does anyone else have this problem.

When I select the source the box is on it doesn't wake up. The light stays red and what's strange is when I selected the source it was on today the TV show cames on but I can't use the remote for the box. Only the volume works and the light doesn't turn blue. What can I do to fix this?

How do I turn off the CEC in settings. Every time I switch my source from my Xbox to my U5 my tv keeps powering off. Only does it on the U5 box.
