How to get a gt250 remote to fully work with a U5 box can not get the volume to work.

Ordered 2023/07/01 has been working fine. Shut off last night when we went to bed. Paid not attention to it until now and it has no light on. Took out the hard drive, tried to do a reset on the back no luck. Wall wart is ok as I dug out the 4900 and it powers up. Any suggestions?

Title says it all… On my U5 in Developer Options: Should I have Force allow apps on external turned on? Also, should I have USB Debugging on? Just curious what others have these settings set to. Thanks in advance.

I have the U5 set top box. I'm currently trying to sign into Google Play store, but half through putting in my password, the box will shut off and the remote will not turn back on. I was able to connect it to my wifi, no problems, but now this snag. It's like when I try to move to a different page, it shuts off, that's the only way I can describe it. My box, as of now, is still, and I have not been navigating on it. Now it's started beeping every so often. Help, it's driving me bonkers. Is there a fix and how can I fix it? Appreciate the help.

Just received my box yesterday connected everything and the only thing that the box does is turn on and off when it's on I see the buzz logo and then it turns off customer service doesn't answer or respond to emails has anyone else experienced this problem

I click on live tv app and it takes me to MAC Server on server settings screen! I can not open anything except Add M3U playlist. The screen says Portal Name is Server 1 and Portal URL http:// I do not know what to do!? Please help if you can as I am a bit frustrated with this BuzzTV box.

I understand the drawbacks with formatting a drive as internal. But, if I were to add a SSD drive, format as internal, would this entire drive be network sharable as the internal memory would be?

How can i plug a flash drive in and play movies on VLC

I have done a factory reset I'm using an ethernet cable i have formatted my 1TB hardrive i keep getting media format is not supported errors sometimes it lists the recording as if it there. But it's not I reconnected my XRS4500 and it records perfectly. The only difference is the U5 So i'm stuck using my 4500 to do all my recording. The irony is i loved the 4500 so much, i thought the u5 would be a worthy upgrade

I used to play downloaded stuff on my olg Mag 324 STB using flash drives. Unable to do it on the new BUZZ U5 unit. how to go about it. The unit has 3 usb ports - thanks

Although the U5 remote will control the TV it will not control the Samsung Q990C soundbar. U5 to HDMI 1 on soundbar, HDMI eARC out to one connect box.

Hello. I have a U5 and a Samsun TU8000 Samsung TV (Tizen). I can control the TV (volume and power) with the BT-400 remote. I want to control the U5 with the Samsung Remote. When I try to do it, the TV shows only some brands of OTT receivers. Any workaround or any of these brands I should select? Thanks!

U5 HDD keeps safely ejecting the WD SSD Blue USB drive and will not reconnect.

I have the latest update and everytime I shut box down it starts the box and the tv back up on its own. I have already unpaired and repaired remote it didn't change anything

I have two U5 special editions with 32GO+ 1TB HDD. One has got its HDD disconnected (don't know why/how). Now it is unable to reconnected at reboot. A side-effect of that is that gogle play is no able to instal applications du to lack of memeory even if the internal drive memory has 26Go left. What should I do? The disk is not longer visible at all in buzzTVutilities (Disk-Format). Not that I don't have any data on this drive so far. Thank you Innocent Kamwa Longueuil, Québec

Good day I just purchased the u5. I’m having trouble getting apps to install not sure what to do

I bought 4 boxes and one of them will not shutt off with any of the remotes, including the one that came with it. All have been paired and updates applied. Any Ideas ?

I have three U5 BuzzTV boxes and only one turns itself on during the night. I have have it connected to a Samsung UN50ES6820 TV via HDMI. I have turned off CEC and virual CEC on the BuzzTV box but it still turns itself on. I have not programmed any PVR recordings. Has anyone else had this problem?
