Since few days I'm having a hard time to stream tv the picture continously freez and restart even in second player and the box is wired ethernet. I have factory reset clear cash. Nothing to do I had to do a hard reset and it continued to work OK until this morning. So I ask my friend to bring is Formuler tv box plug it with all wires of mine and work flawlessly for over hours. So I re-connect mine and still do same thing even on the second plsyer Backup. Keep freezing, I did a second hard reset again after an hour it restart freezing. Is there a problem with the BuzzTV X5??

Which flash drives are compatible with the X5 and for which purposes can they be used?

This morning I found that my BuzzTV X5 started on it's own. Last night I was shore that I had chosen shutdown ??

This issue has happened twice so far (within days). I’m looking for any suggestions that I haven’t already tried I was streaming on the device when it rebooted out of nowhere. It seems to boot up fine but now does not respond to the remote unless its factory rested. Attaching a USB mouse gets me so far since it doesn’t seem to be able to really click on any of the apps. I can get the most over to the app but it doesn’t open when I double click it. The mouse does get me far enough to attempt to re-pair the remote but that did not help. I’m wondering if there is anything else I can try before factory resting it again for a 3rd time.

At first everything was OK and the error is that I went to storage and clicked to sd card and there we go. The sd card is in the slot and it's not recognize by X5. Other than reset is there a bathers way to recognize the card? Please help 🙏

I have an X5. I have it hooked into my home theatre setup. I have the BT-400 remote set up so that It will control the Buzz box only. and not the Buzz and TV. I found that the BT-400 was a bit wonky when I had it set up to control the buzz and my tv at the same time. I factory reset the remote and reset it up to only control the Buzz. I use a Harmony remote to control all of the peripherals in my home theatre . Every time that I turn the buzz box off or change to use my DVD or Roku the Buzz box turns itself back on. Any suggestions on how to stop it doing this.

I just purchased and set up a new X5. I have 2 servers loaded. I use the MAC address format. One of the servers loaded and worked with absolutely no problem at all. However the second server "Crystal" will not connect. The message that I get is Cannot Load Portal: Cannot connect to server due to a connection error. I used to get this message with my XRS4500 with the same server every time there was an update for the Buzz. Hi all First post here so be kind.. 😉 I have just got myself the X5 Special Edition. All good so far except that for my 2 IPTV services i have one works and one doesn't. I get a message saying stream is not available on all channels. This is a service that has been set up with the correct ID and password and the EPG was setup properly. This is a service i have used for 2 years with no problem on a Amazon firestick using Tivimate and also i have been able to get it working on Tivimate on the X5. it's just on the native IPTV player it isn't working. My backup IPTV is setup and working on the native IPTV player with no problem. Any ideas on what it might be?

Received my new x5 yesterday from Amazon and unit will not boot past boot animation and just continually restarts. Tried factory reset via toothpick method and to no avail still only boots to animation and then continually restarts. Could you send me a link to the new update and I will try to install this update via usb and see if that makes a difference. I even changed hdmi different input etc.

Hi, My X5 is connected via HDMI to my Sonos system...do I need to disable the s/pdif output in order to play on my Sonos surround sound? Will try tomorrow since they came out with a firmware update on April 3rd and one of the changes says fixed audio passthrough... Thank you

Hello, I had been watching things on my X5 all day today without issue until about 10 minutes ago. The screen just went blank and has not recovered. Even with a reboot. I unplugged it for a while thinking it might be overheated but still a blank screen when I plugged it back in. I left it plugged in and running for a while to see if anything changed but again just remains blank. Oddly enough when I touch the X5 it feels cool like it hasn’t been running a while (even after plugging it in and leaving it on). Is there a way to externally reset it? I have only had it maybe 2 weeks, maybe it died on me? UPDATE: looks like things came back up…

Hello, I am attempting to copy my backup Kodi files to the X5 and I am having some trouble. So far I have tried using ES File Explorer and X-plore to copy files from my laptop to the X5 but neither of them have worked and I can't seem to track down why. ES File Explorer just fails for every action I attempt whether it's uploading a file through the "View on PC" or deleting a file through the app itself. X-plore just doesn't show the content of the directory when I attempt to go to the path that I created. As far as I am aware, I am not attempting to access any system files and I made sure to force-stop Kodi just in case any files were in use but …

How can I hide channel categories, or can I? Also, is there a way to sort them from how they are listed by default? TIA

when you go to organize category it shows locked channels in the list but when you view categories it doesn't exist also I can go to a locked channel and select it and no password is required to view it

I have to manually turn it up. Sometimes I have be in the 60 range for volume to be able to hear. Is there something I am doing wrong.
