I am trying to add external storage via a USB drive. I have a Scandisk 64GB 3.0 USB drive. I am using the blue USB port on the x5. The desired outcome will be to eliminate the error message about timeshift. I was able to successfully format the drive using the x5. I moved the apps to the drive successfully. However, after that, the system became very slow and then locked up. The remote would not control anything. So I tried to repair the ARQ-100 to the dongle. Still locked up. I removed the external drive and the system works again. I have tried 2 64GB drives. I think I may have a 32GB lying around somewhere that I could try. I also have a larger WD hard drive I coul…

Hi, Has anyone been able to enable digital audio output(passthrough) with VLC when trying to play a DD 5.1 movie? When I enable digital audio output (passthrough) in VLC, I get no sound but if I don't enable it, I get sound... Thank you It works with my 4900

Option to update on 7/14/22. I chose the update and after reboot the screen is stuck on buzztv logo. I unplugged power from the wall to the box after 10 minutes and issue persists when powering back.

Out of curiosity, I went to Settings->Device Preferences->Storage. From there I see "Internal shared storage" with Total space of 115GB. Then if I select it to see the details, I see the details, except for the last one for "Available". Available is showing as 0B. Went back up and selected my removable storage, and it does the same. I can see the details, but it shows 0B for Available. Is this an OS bug, or some permission issue of some sort that got messed up somewhere ? Does anyone else have the same issue ? Not a huge deal, but it is always nice to be able to see that you are not running out of space on any storage device. For reference, r…

Last night all was well. I turn it on this morning, and it is out of sync. I start some troubleshooting. I try my Firestick. It is playing fine on the same channel from the same IPTV provider. I try at least a 1/2 dozen channels, and they were all out of sync with the X5. I use the remote to restart the box. Still out of sync. I unplug the unit from the wall. Still out of sync. Fast-forward to this afternoon, and it is working. Maybe a glitch? Any ideas?

Does parmountplus and Disney and Netflix do 4k

On my Buzztv x5 YouTube won’t start it keeps buffering. I have tried the usual stuff, clearing the cache, restarting, switching off the box and unplugged the lead. I also tried uninstalling the YouTube app but it won’t uninstall. I tried going into Google’s App Store and reloading the app, but that didn’t work nor did going into Aptoide tv and reloading an older version of YouTube. Apart from doing a reset I am at a complete loss. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Miffled

i have been testing BuzzTv X5 since last night and so far having amazing experince with Buzztv x5. Very well packed with strong steal body and beautiful remote control this device is state of the art technology. even though power adapter says 2 Amp output but I connected directly to my tvs USB port with 1 Amp and device has been working fine so far. Took 1 update after initial setup and paired my remote control with tv super easy process. Buzz tv smart app shows that remote is connected, current firmware of remote control and battery level. Hi everyone, I am used to using Buzztv 4500XRS and that box comes preinstalled with teamviewer quick support. That version of teamviewer allows full remote control. The new X5 doesn't come with teamviewer preinstalled and once I install it from Aptoide I can only view a screen remotely and not control the box like I could on the XRS4500. Is there a way to fix this so I can have full control??

There are three Player options with the X5 1. Default 2. Secondary 3. I just got the buzztv X5 Hooked it up, works great but When I try to play a Dolby digital 5.1 or Dolby Atmos or Dolby digital plus movie... the movie plays but I get no sound...those movies play fine using my buzztv 4900 It works with my 4900 xrs... the audio output in the 4900 includes Dolby Atmos with Dolby digital plus, Dolby digital, Dolby digital plus, dts, dts-hd, AAC, Dolby truehd... As the movie plays with my sound system Maybe it's just a settings within the X5 but can't seem to find it... when going in display & sound, all I see is s/pdif... in vod/tv series it has a search at the top but in live tv there isn't one for now I just use an older remote that has a search button any way of adding search at top in live tv?

I notice that the most recent update has removed the volume control on the box. Hopefully the next update fixes this.

I bought last month Buzz TV X5 64 AI after setting up and downloaded apps from Google store the last 2 days I am unable to download apps from the store because of not enough storage messages it says not enough space to download consider deleting apps to free storage looking the device storage it has more than 50 GB did any one know how fix false not enough space to store downloaded apps? Appreciate someone to help with false messages of not enough space to download apps.

What makes the X5 box so different to any other Buzz5 beta box ?? The X5 running for a week never loosing server connection!! all the other Buzz5 beta file 653 or 720 up, all loose connection to the server as for picture, after siting for awhile or over night leaving the box on its homepage not streaming live tv, you need to restart the box or menu and press refresh, hardwired or wifi makes no difference
