	A couple of days ago I was going through the apps on my X5, looking to see which ones I might want to delete.  I opened Virus Total Mobile, an app I don't remember ever using and don't even remember installing.  I closed it fairly quickly and moved on.  I just noticed that in settings it said there were 2 accounts - mine and Virus Total Mobile.  Is this an app that should be deleted?  Any other security measures I should take?  It's in the Google Play Store.

	When I attempted to post this, the spam protection error message box popped up and said my registration has been denied, to contact admin at cs@buzztv.com.  Forbidden!  You sent forms too often.  Wait a few minutes.  It's been months since I submitted a question.  When I attempted to email, the email address was flagged and I was instructed to correct it.

	I have a new Google account and attempted to change it over in my X5.  First tried to Add Account in Android settings.  When I selected Google as the type of account, it started working and reverted back to the add account screen.  Decided to first delete the old Google account and try again -- same result.  Turned off Nord VPN in case it was interfering -- same result.  Restarted X5 with no change in behavior.   Next I opened Google Playstore after cleaning the app data and cache.  Sign-in window opened.  Put in new login info, clicked sign-in box and again it looked like it was trying to connect and reverted back to the initial sign-in window with no error message or notification.  EVERTTHING else is working perfectly.  At a loss for what to do next short of reset ??

	Hi, I have the BUZZ TV X5 128 AX-C and I have successfully configured the M3U8 stream from my VBOX Live TV server and can watch all the TV programs, which is great. The problem is that the epg does not display and I get the error "could not load XML epg"  All settings are coming from the VBOX server and copied from there straight into the M3U server settings in BUZZTV.  VBOX provided IPTV settings but the EPG is just not working with BUZZTV 5
</p>

	Is there anything else i have to do to get the epg to display correctly?

	I have a Buzztv X5 that has been in storage for a year.  When I boot up the box, it opens to the buzztv hexagon and goes no farther.   It just sits on that logo.  I did a factory reset, which went well.  Reinstalled the operating system and did the update for Sept 2024 and when it finished, it asked to Reboot the box.  Did reboot, and it went to the same hexagon logo and will not go farther.

	Does the Buzz Tv box store them somewhere by default.

	I read here also that someone is using Teamviewer to download or upload and it's working for him.

	I could also do that and download them on my pc after any ideas anyone where are my movies located

	<font style="vertical-align:inherit;"><font style="vertical-align:inherit;"><font style="vertical-align:inherit;"><font style="vertical-align:inherit;">J'ai un buzz-tv X5-128 et depuis qu'il ya eu le lundi 25 aout 2025 une très bonne orage avec éclair que j'ai perdu le courant environ 1 hrs, quand tout est revenu stable, j'ai demarrer mon X5 et je n'ai plus accès à internet, pourtant avec mon ordi pas de problème je suis filaire sur mes appareils aussi le X5 (pas de wifi) après plusieurs tentatives (reinisialiser) et tester mon remplissage (pas de problème de se cote)je l ai repartie mais sur wifi et la j ai une connexion mais faible et vraiment pas rapide (je suis sur la fibre 500) je ne comprent pas et je me dit que ya du avoir une surgage à cause des éclairs , ca veut tu dire que je ne peux faire quelque chose.</font></font></font></font>

	I changed my TV and Internet provider to Roger's Xfinity. The problem is with there on the road application. While I was with Bell the on the road application was working fine. What I call on the road is when I bring my Buzztv X5 in my RV went go camping.

	Now with Roger's I get a message saying that the Buzztv X5 is not Compatible with there Xfinity application.
</p>

	Is there other way to do this.

	I have been using a BuzzTV XR4500 and love it, I grabbed a BuzzTV X5 128 AX-C for more internal space. The box is nice, it's fast and has BUZZTV 5 that has always worked great for me, adding Kodi with all my locale libraries was a breeze and went much faster than the on old box and I still have has loads of space for all the artwork or anything I want.<br />
	But The BT-400 remote is too small (my 9 year old granddaughter likes it lol) it has no mute or stop button and I can only control the TV volume. I don't think I have used the volume on my TV more than a couple times since I bought it. Thankfully I have a Harmony Companion I am using to control the box and I switched the Harmony to control my AV receiver volume instead of the box volume as with the XR4500 android 9. I thought all android devices have volume built in it seems like a step backwards with the newer android to me? Oh ya and no PIP on the home page anymore again seems like a step backwards with the newer android to me but I am not a techie?<br />
	I wonder will the BT-500 work with this box it looks like a better option.

	Tried to open Google Play Store app after many months of no using it.  When attempting to run the app, I just get a black screen and only pressing home button will recover.  I tried cleaning cache and data and fore stopped, restarted the X5.  No change.  Non of the search results on this topic produced any approached that fixed the problem.  Downloaded the Play Store bundle for Android 10+ and attempted to install Apk Installer which is evidently required to install their downloads.  I tried installing the APK Installer and thought it looked successful.  I didn't show as an installed app on the X5.  Clicking the Play Store downloaded file just brings up a pop-up to select an app to open -- only my browsers and Tivimate are shown as options -- not the APK Installer.
</p>

	Does anyone have any other ideas how to re-install the play store apk ??  If not, I guess I'll just try alternate sources which usually will not be a frequent occasion.

	I have a new issue on a different box. I have another parent who's X5 box suddenly can't connect to WIFI. It's been working fine for over a year, and stopped working a few days ago. When we enter the password for the WIFI on the X5, we get the error "couldn't find [network name]" (the password is fine, we double-checked it on another device). We also tried connecting the X5 to a hotspot from a phone, and that wouldn't work either. Note that ethernet cable is not plugged into the X5. In the updates section the X5 says it checked for updates 4 days ago (so it should be up-to-date?). We tested directly connecting the X5 to ethernet and that works, but we still need the X5 to connect to WIFI.

	When I change the TV input ,from my BuzzTV X5 to something else like satellite or OTA antenna, then go back to the X5 input , the channel always changes from where I left it. Usually jumps 1-3 channels. Is this a software or hardware problem. It does it on all servers.
