basically you have two options Do a hard reset and see if that works or contact buzz for a replacement Its a good box ,unfortunatelt these thing happen on occasion

that shows its on ir mode and should work Any chance you have hit mouse button on remote? that would stop remote from working

if you hold button down does the red light on remote flash or stay solid?

hit the back button Ive bypassed this many times

continue on and set up box using ir mode you can try pairing it in menu later

you dont press it ,you hold button down and wait for screen It can take 6 7 seconds

are you holding the button down with toothpick and then plugging in the buzz?

the button is near the top of av hole You should be able to feel it being pushed in

follow the guide it explains everything in detail

is it responding to remote?

have you unplugged and plugged?

You can check in the menu under remotes and accessories

Check your battery level It will happen to me when it's low

You can try a pin reset and hopefully the remote might work on recovery screen It's also covered under warranty

It's hard to know if it's an issue with the remote or the stick You have a friend with a buzz remote?

Those are ir functions You're pointing remote directly at the end of ir cable? Is this new?

can you power the stick on and off with remote?

You hit the home button on remote (house)

Hold power button down and select restart See if that message goes away So pressing the home button on remote does nothing? How did you get to settings?

What does that say in bottom left? Mode? Go to home page ,settings,home screen What does it say?
