Hi I Haven’t used my xrs4900 for a while but just recently used it again. It updated the iptv app and I got the error portal not supported? Tivimate works perfect I also tried another provider and got the same message. any help on this?

Anybody use Kodi with the xrs4900? I recently reset it back to factory default... and just using Kodi with the device... I installed Kodi on this device but getting this error when installing an add-on "The dependency on script.module.dateutil version 0.0.0 could not be satisfied" Do you think because it's on an older version of android? It installs with my buzztv powerstation P6 perfectly. Just wondering if anyone knows why I'm getting this error and how to fix it? Thank you

I want to use my Buzztv XRS4900 more widely and not only as Tvbox. Notificatios (Status bar) are not availble on this box. Is there any chance for an update for this or any other way to obtain working notifications, alternatively could a third party firmware be installed and how to do this. Thanks JL Garnier

moved to diff state and had to do a hard reset and factory reset to get on internet. now ppv and vod work ok but rest of channels give the media format is not supported message. reading this forum it appears that firmware updates can cause this. running latest firmware v20220923 .. iptv 5.0766 I am thinking how to contact buzz to get this fixed. i see some people have had this and was able to get it running and some maybe not. using mac address fyi ppv and vod and some new channels work ok -all help appreciated

Anyone else have issue with the bt250 remote stop working. I go to bluetooth acessories and it was unpaied i repaired it and it seem to freeze and not work. I had to unplugg the box and plug it back in

I believe i saw in another feed that there was a new firmware being tested out for 4 series boxes. Is this correct or an i mistaken. Just curious

Hey group. New to forum, but have been lurking for awhile. Running hdmi to everything and also running the fire cube 3rd gen. I have kodi running on both. Set things up on kodi and have the box sending audio through hdmi to my amp (same as the cube). The 4900 will play the dd+ Atmos fine. Truehd however is not passing through (settings are set correct on kodi). My amp reads 2 channel pcm. Is there a setting somewhere to enable pass through? In the audio settings I have set it to manual and turned on all formats. Trying to compare apples to apples to see if I even need the cube.

I sometimes use my XRS4900 with the Steam Link app to play games on my tv, but I’ve been stuck using a wired connection because the box fails to pair, despite recognizing the device. is there any solution, or a planned update to fix this?

I have not been able to get the EPG on my Buzz Box 4900 to populate more than a few stations on what is coming up, either shows No Information or Loading. I have tried just about everything under the sun. I have tried two different VPN's, selected sites all over the world and still can't get the EPG to populate. I get the stations but no information. Not much point having a EPG if you can't see what is coming up.

Hi Everyone, I'm very much aware that on this forum, with good reason, we do not mention services. However, is there a way of getting around this? Over the last year or so, I have noticed people blaming the box, or app for their (poor/ failing) service. Would it not be beneficial to discreetly, advise people what service works best with the box, (I know all do), but that's the best I can articulate it! Thanks

Channel 657 (BT Sport 1 / TNT Sport 1) has been set on a one hour delay for the last few weeks and I am unsure whether it is my box or a general fault. Anyone else had this issue or know how to resolve it?

Loading the guide. I pick a random channel and bring up the guide, it says loading on all 8 channels on that page. I timed it and it takes 13 minutes to load the 8 channels. Nothing loads on the page above or below the one I am on. I have left the guide on for an hour and it does not load information on any more pages only the page I am on. I did a factory reset just in case I messed things up somewhere when exploring settings. Same provider for years, same subscription as used on the 3900 which took about 15 minutes to load all the channels. There had been some glitches at times but usually works. Does everybody else have there guide …

Any one know if its possible on XR4900 to transfer downloads from ssd drive to usb stick. Want to reformat the drive from Fat32 to Ex Fat on my laptop . Dont want to lose the films.
