I got new buzzTV 4900 can't turn on stuck on the red light . I tried power on with remote control , but still have the same problem . please help ? Thanks

I've set the box for a classic or #2 launcher and now I can't get to settings to set it back to Modern. This is too stupid to even have to ask... but all I have, other than the Apps, is Buzz TV 5 icon that takes me to the Server setup. How do I get to Buzz Utils? TIA!

it only worx with mac with xc api you get the message media format is not supported

Does the box have to stay on for the recordings ? Or will it record when the red light is on.

I ordered a couple of the 4900 to try out. Just curious has the Ethernet issue and the backup issue been corrected with the latest update?

Hi all, Got my boxed today and all so had the authorize message come up, 8 hours later it then started to update the software, boxed rebooted and started to update gets to 30% then gives error, tried several times still the same, is it possible I update it manually and where do I download the firmware update, any help please?

Hey, setting up the box I noticed that there are settings in audio which are preset, one is for hdmi setting? I noticed some channels the audio does not match the video can I adjust these setting to fix this issue?

hi My TV provider loads the program list only for applications with MAC address , remotely. I really like BuzzTV5 and would not like to give it up and is it possible to load the program list using the mac address to BuzzTV5? Regards Maciej

Hello, I just purchased the BuzzTV 4900 earlier this week. The unit with setups and the firmware was updated. I’m getting a lot of buffering and after a short time i get the message “Buzz TV 5 isn’t responding”, i think need to shut the unit down and restart. I don’t think it’s my server as I’m running an older Buzz unit with the same server and have no issues. The 4900 is connected via Ethernet. I’ve tried to connect the unit using my wifi but can’t seem to connect to my router that is located nearby. I had really high hopes for this unit, but so far it’s a dud. I’m hoping someone can help me.

Hi guys, great site!!! I have a XRS4500Max and a XRS4900, The 4500 has auto selectable 4K video output in the Settings, but the 4900 does not? Just wondering why that would be? Thank you, Mark7

when i press the suspend button it will turn off and after 5 sec the box will turn on again is there a bug in the firmware if i power off the box it will stay off is that normal
