  1. if the power option is set to standby it will be in standby no matter which remote you use
  2. usually a refresh will fix the sync if its not a server issue
  3. you can leave it on the home page I think it works on standby not 100% sure though In a future update you will be able to power it off

    No you can't update manually Are you hard wired? Sometimes.es it takes a few times to update
