I just switched from physical buzz device to smart STB+ and realized that my TCL tv remote does not have any way to search on or use the “find” button on the app. i press “123” button but then get an error something like this page does not support virtual remote… i can only go down the list but can not find any older movie if i want. any help would greatly appreciated

The remote either requires multiple presses to get a response or it is super sensitive. When typing in search topics, it frequently enters multiples of the same letter/number. Then when I go back and delete the duplicate, it removes both letters/numbers. It just took me over 15 minutes to enter an m3u url because of this. Sometimes it goes up or down a menu at lightning speed but the button itself is not in a stuck position. After opening a menu box on an app, I've found that the only way to accomplish what I'm trying to do is to press the very, very bottom of the OK button. When I pair my remote to my tv, I can turn on and off my tv but cannot turn off the buzz box. Is this normal?

When I use my bt-400 remote it adjusts the volume on both the buzz TV box xrs4500 and the TV itself, which makes volume adjustments difficult as both volumes are adjusted together. There is a setting for sound on the buzz box which sets the volume to max but then the volume control doesn't do anything on the TV. Is there a setting to stop the buzz box from adjusting its volume while allowing the TV volume to be adjusted by the bt-400 remote. My TV is a Samsung which has the hdm arc going to a sound bar.

Hello, my BT 400 remote will not control my TV volume. It hasn’t in probably a year. But I tried adding a wireless speaker and the volume is very low and the remote will not adjust it. (Yes the speaker volume is all the way up and I’ve reset remote) Any help will be appreciated

This remote was made for the fingers of a 10 year old girl, not a grown adult, particularly a male. Poorly designed. Anyone have any suggestions for a substitute? PS: Love the Box.

I have to admit I love the box but hate this remote. The worst part is the unraised navigational keys. I also have trouble when entering server url address. It always put spaces in line even though I haven't entered any spaces. Im considering ordering one of the other available remotes even if its non Bluetooth. Im think the BUZZTV ESSENTIAL ARQ-250. Has raised navigation keys. Can anyone confirm? At least this remote you can speak to as well. LOL

When controlling the remote from the app on a U5 the backlight will go flash on but will not remain on.

This question is for any BuzzTv staff who read it; any chance of updating the remote's programming to allow expanded remote pairing with TCL tv's and remotes? I have a TCL Roku tv and I've tried all the methods offered currently, with no success. It tries 15 different pairing codes and none of them work. I realize the OS is Roku, but its all infrared signals at the end of the day. Can you guys add more codes than the 14 please? The autosetup and the manual "code 5" dont work. thanks, Matt
