In his video, just the 1 M3U he used in the video didn't work for him. Lots of our users use M3U on the 4900 and our other models as we do support it.

  11. We had to get a few users local to us to lend us their 4000s with this issue. As this issue has been difficult so far to fix, as its only happening to a small amount of users Were going to spend next week debugging this and then try to fix it.

  13. As NBS points out This might be a hardware issue. As 5ghz doesn't just all of sudden stop working due to a software issue/require a patch.

  15. Using your Phone Have it connected to the same Wifi Connection as the stick. Open the Browser/Chrome on both devices Go to Fast.com And compare the speeds of the stick to your phone. To see how big of a difference there is. Also another thing to consider, is to check the Wifi Signal Meter on the stick itself. In most cases, the slower speeds could be the result of a low signal.
  16. Is it running hot when this happens?

In the office we have tested Western Digital or San Disk Or Kingston or Samsung All work fine Basically any brand name SSD should work well.

  20. Not sure what you mean?
  21. Yes its best to Format via the 4900 itself Also it works best if formatted as external storage. I personally use a 1TB SSD on my 4900, works well.
  22. If you're referring to recording VOD or TV series We do not have this feature.
