When I search for Friends, it doesn’t appear. I have to manually go look for it under Crave or Hulu.

I don't have a Classic AI yet, but that should not matter since that is BuzzTV 6 app related.

What version of BuzzTV 6 is installed on your Classic AI ?

On my Powerstation I now have 1.0.299 (May not be available to all yet), and I have no issues searching for "Friends" and getting piles of hits including the series..

Do you get any hits ?

 

Provide a little more info. Box is Classic AI I assume ?   What version of BuzzTV are you running.

 

the version on the AI box is 1.0.289

I was at 289 before I update to 299 on Friday and I had no issues searching either. 

@gig63 if you have an AI, can you do the same test in TV Series and see if yours works ?

I am suspecting something with the providers internal description of the series.  But seriously curious if there are any other hits when they search for "friends".

 

I went to tv series and did a search for fiends, all three services found friends two i had to scroll dow a little bit and one had it right at the top

have you tried those apps on a different device?

friends was found on all three using my x5

Shows up on my classic ai

Are you changing the search category ?

Tv programs are not tv series

They will be under vod

TV Programs are Live TV, so it searches your EPG for whats on now and in the future

As the post above mine also states, TV Shows will appear within VOD if your server has them

Same result as my screenshot. Friends doesn’t appear under VOD. 

Did you scroll down ?  Seems to be quite a few hits and there seems to be more further down.

Yes for sure. Several Friends references but not the TV show

The search feature only searches what the server you're using offers, nothing else

So if no results are shown, then the server doesn't offer it

Or your server has spelled it wrong in the naming... Try "Freinds" instead of "Friends".  The poster means nothing.
