**NEW** Buzz 5 App Update - Version 946 - Jan 13th, 2025

Featured Replies

As you answered earlier, you are on 5.0.946 which is essentially this latest update you asked about, so you are up to date as DU already mentioned.

So considering you don't seem to know much about the subscriptions on your box, I assume someone sold you this box with subscriptions already installed.  Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Buzz does NOT sell IPTV subscriptions.  Their boxes are just the hardware and software needed to use IPTV, but you typically need to buy a subscription separately.  So the quality of the programming is dependant on the iptv service/subscription that you have "purchased".

When you say favorties, are you referring to favorite channels for LiveTV, or are you referring to favorties under VOD/TV Series section ?

Under LiveTV, when you go through the channels, when you find one that you like, you can hit the yellow button, and it adds it to your favorites (the button function is often listed at the bottom of the OSD).  Then everything you have tagged will show up under the "Favorites" category, so you don't need to go through thousands of channels all the time.  Similar principal exists for VOD and TV Series.

Anyhow, like I said before, if you need more help with the B5, feel free top start a new thread under the B5 section and you can ask the questions you want.

It is the favorites for the tv shows, not the channels. I will check out the other thread. Thank you again. Just curious is there a better buzz tv box then the one I have?

One mistake you might be making is designating an  episode as favs instead of the series

If you designate the series as favs all episodes available will load

@nbs.How do I do that?

You need to post some info

Buzz model

Buzz firmware

Buzz software

Just live tv or vod and tv series?

And ideally please post in the respective section for the box model that you own, since this obviously has nothing to do with this thread.

Does anyone know how to root the X5? I require access to the Android data folder using a file manager

Thanks

First of all, this is wrong category to post in.  And the answer is, "you don't" .

The picture freezes up on some (many) channels. Switching to another cannel then back doesn't work.

What can I do to correct?

Reg

First thing you can do is post in the correct section for your box, and not hijack a 3 month old thread which is irrelevant to your issue.

Then provide more info, like exact model of box you are using (there are a few different X5 models).  You Software version (5.0.xxx), firmware version (V202xxxxxxx).  Why type of subscription you are using MAC, XC, M3U ?

Have you tried using a VPN service ?  Many ISP are blocking iptv streams lately and worse during prime time peak hours.

Start a NEW thread, and include the pertinent info.  Please do NOT continue it in this thread.
