  • I have never had any issues with pic quality on any model buzz has produced

  • tried that and was not showing but it finally started now for me after leaving it alone lol 🙂

  • I figured out the problem. After you apply the update you have to redo the "auto tv setup". After I did that the "hdmi cec settings" switches worked properly.

Turned on X5 and got a message of available update with OTA screen.  Declined for now.  Waiting to see how it goes for others.

original FW and Buzz5 versions :  202220919 / 5.0,766

Update notice appeared upon start up

after update: 20221011 / 5.0.775

it was a couple minutes  to update with a reboot  to finish.

Looking good 🙂

Update went smoothly and was completed in 6-7 minutes.

My X5 now remains on regardless of any other device being on or off.👍

so you want it that way?

Considering the thumbs up, I am assuming yes 🙂   With the new options (CEC and Virtual) you can choose the behaviour you want now, and it works as expected,

no it doesn't

It updated fine but now the box never goes off even when the TV is off. Fixed player issues I was having though.

what are your settings for hdmi cec?

I just checked my X5128AI....it says all items are current:

20220324

5.0.727

I've rebooted it multiple times and done a power discon/recon.

Send your info via PM to @allaboutbuzz

I know the August update was targeted for devices running the following versions:

20220518
20220616
20220714
20220805

So maybe the 20220324 was overlooked accidently.
