I'm looking at upgrading my Classic to the Classic AI, and would like to know if I can use the backup from my current box to transfer my server and favourites settings to the new AI box?

you need a backup that used buzztv 6

Well, On the L1, when BuzTV 6 (lite)  V1.0.105 was released back in February (at least on the L1) the release notes stated:

 Changes:

- Added Backup/Restore Feature to Settings (You can use Buzz 5 Backup Files to Restore onto Buzz 6)

 

I have not tested it on the classic AI, but if I get a sec, I can try it later tonight after I get home.

I forgot it was changed

before it woulldn't list buzztv 5 backups but now it does
