Ideally on your box, go to settings from main screen then BuzzTV Utilities, Power Options, Power Off Mode - and set it to "Shutdown". 

This will ensure the device actually shuts down and not standby.  Sure it take an extra 30 seconds to come on (compared to a suspend), but at least you know that each time the box has booted clean, without any left overs from some possibly previously misbehaving apps.

my personal experience have countless buzz devices and non is set to shutdown. setup standby mode and never got issues. all devices running rock solid. but like others said it takes only under a minute to be up and running from shutdown.
