I am not sure if it is the box or the provider, this is my second box the other is classic anniversary, but the AI while going through the channels one at a time it will jump a dozen channels like your remote is stuck, but it does this it once in a while not all the time and the volume touch it once, and it will do the same thing, it is hard to control but again not all the time, so do you think it's the box

I have not heard of this issue in the testing group or experienced it myself at all

Try unpairing the remote, and re-pairing it again.
