Glenn Vek Posted April 17 Posted April 17 I’ve just got the new g series device. Downloaded BuzzTV 6 from Google Play - set up a few providers in the app However when I play a UHD/4K channel - it stutters (not buffering) It is only on UHD/4K channels I have installed both Tivimate + iMPlayer and both of those play the same channels that BuzzTv 6 is having trouble with no problem. Which leads me to think it’s an issue with the app. Hopefully can be fixed with an update. 1 Quote
Glenn Vek Posted April 18 Author Posted April 18 Well I’m getting issues with 4k like I said is fine on other apps on the device (tivimate and iMPlayer) I am unsure what it could be then. Quote
Glenn Vek Posted April 18 Author Posted April 18 Thanks I’d appreciate that. All other channels are fine. It’s just UHD/4K channels. Quote
Smashed_Atom Posted April 20 Posted April 20 Be pleased when they do as just received mine today and definitely stuttering on the 4k Quote

Emporium Posted April 28 Posted April 28 You buy the latest device of any brand or device type and you need to expect that there are early bugs. It i EXACTLY the same with everything, including Cell phones, even the GOOGLE ones, which have some serious dumb issues (and I have owned a few of them). And you mentioned the Fo@#$%$ unit, and I know many who had pre-ordered their latest box, and many months later, they are still using the tivim%@#$% app on the box, since their app is still riddled with bugs compared to their previous version. NEW boxes, new software, always requires some fixes, without any exceptions. Buy a new "generation" véhicule after major redesigns, is unfortunately exactly the same issue nowadays. You can't deal with that, you buy something from previous generation. 4 Quote

And it does not include it's own IPTV player. You need to install some 3rd party app (which you can do on this one also if you prefer and are impatient). Quote
allaboutbuzz Posted April 29 Posted April 29 Update is Live now on the Playstore for GTV V1.0.302 Fixes 4K + Other bug fixes 5 Quote
Smashed_Atom Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Don’t think it’s working well with 4k HDR as picture seems stutter free and smooth but picture quality is over bright and not good however when tried same content with iMPlayer the HDR logo on affected channels comes on and picture perfect Guess there’s some more work required but pleased the fix was released Quote
