Not Able to Connect to Playstore

Featured Replies

I have been having trouble connecting to Google Play on my Classic Anniversary box. When I go into the app it says "no internet connection, try again" and my internet connection is fine. I was told from other sources that when this happens, to uninstall updates. This worked when it happened on my P6, but not on my Classic Anniversary box. I was then told to clear cache and data, which I did, both of which still have no effect on the problem. I don't know what else to do. Because of this I'm having some trouble also with a few other apps downloaded from Google Play as well and I can't fix them because I can't get into the Playstore.

A hard reset fixed the issue for another user with the same issue

Thanks NBS for the link, everything went smoothly and it was quick.
Dishuser, the button on the left side is for turning the device off or restarting it. It's impossible to perform a factory reset with that button.
Thanks again for your help.  👍 🙂

Did you try ?

We know it is by defaut a power button, but on the original Classic, you could also hold the side button as you plugged the power in, and it achieved the same as if you put something in AV hole and pushed that button.  I don't have an Anniversary edition, but I would assume it was the same for that aspect.
