September 12, 20251 yr Hello BuzzTV Support, I own a BuzzTV Powerstation 6 and I am experiencing an issue with audio passthrough. Whenever I use Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital+, Dolby TrueHD, or Dolby Atmos passthrough, the sound briefly cuts out whenever I press any button on the remote (for example, when showing “Info” about the current video, adjusting volume, or opening any on-screen display). I would like to use my AVR (Denon/Marantz) to decode the audio formats directly, but these constant dropouts make Atmos and other passthrough formats unusable. Could you please advise if this is: a known firmware issue, a setting I may have overlooked (RAW vs IEC passthrough, audio mixing, etc.), or if there is an upcoming update that will fix this? Thank you for your support. Edited September 12, 20251 yr by Richard Demitra
September 12, 20251 yr I use my tv to decode have the hdmi input set to bitsream. Have not had any drop out issues at all. And i have lg 4.1 ch sound bar im using for sound.
September 16, 20251 yr I can duplicate what Richard says but only when I am streaming 4k video. If I drop down to FHD or lower the audio drop outs go away. i am running a 7.1 system through a Trinnov Altitude16

If you do not have HDMI 2.1 on receiver 4k and Atmos will exceed bandwidth basically.

Audio still drops out during button press when in 4k mode. (Easy fix is not to press buttons while watching 4k, lol)
September 19, 20251 yr Maybe try to change to a better quality HDMI cable ? If it is not HDMI 2.1 compliant, bandwidth would be restricted as aab mentioned above. It would be fine in lower resolutions, but not possibly not in 4k.

And was never mentioned that they were actually using the original cable which came with the Powerstation. Worth trying another one. Edited September 19, 20251 yr by Emporium
