Very slow

My new Buzz E5-SE is very slow loading channels. After pressing PLAY on a  channel, I get a fully black

screen till about 3-4 minutes later, the channel is displayed. Any settings that might help ?

XC, MAC or M3U type SUB ?

I'm assuming you have unplugged the power and re-plugged it just to make sure it was not a bad boot ?

What version of s/w is running ?  When you hit menu button, it should be on bottom of the menu.

Have you enabled any features or just default settings ?

From LiveTV Menu->settings->configure, what is the LiveTV Player list at the top (Primary?) ?  And are any of of the features like RealTime Streaming or Tunneled playback turned on ?  If so, turn them off.  If you have a Stream Format option, ensure it is set to Automatic.

If you have enabled Timeshift and/or Force USB TS (from menu->PVR->PVR Options) disable it for now.

also, remove unnecessary categories if possible from your subscription and if you are connected via XC then check fast login option.

Removed  Tunneled playback, and added fast login. Had already reduced groups.

 

MUCH improvement now !!
