I recently moved to another country. I forgot my remote behind. Is there an app I can use on my phone to use the box???

    im not sure about remote app but go to local store around you and buy an air mouse. not all functions will work but you will be able to watch, change..etc

    I have never managed to get any of the remote apps to work with these boxes.

    However Like Ryu mentioned, a cheap air mouse should work fine.  Don't know where you moved to, but even the generic "MX3 remotes" from amazon which use a USB dongle, work pretty OK.  Not perfect, but well enough to use the box.
