Hi!  I was wondering if people have been contacting you about e1 and e1 plus BUZZ boxes (not sure about E2) not being able to update firmware. 

 

I have been getting calls from customers saying the update notification pops up on their tv screen but firmware update will not complete if they press update.

 

Any information you have would be greatly appreciated.

Is this update when setting up a box or a box that has already been running live tv?

Are their boxes working?

All these boxes have been already set up and did an initial update

The boxes are then sold to customers who are using them at home  These customers at home are now getting a firmware update notification  When they press update, it wont complete the update

I am not even sure an update was sent. Buzz usually post here when an update is released.

Allaboutbuzz will have to supply info

They must of done something because I am getting tons of calls and I plugged in a box to verify myself and the box pops up with a notification for a firmware  update  to be done and if i press update it looks like it updates but then it fail  while checking update integrity

Are the users having issues with their service?

some now saying wifi wont connect  So weird  These are new calls  They have had these boxes for months. and box taking long to load up when powering on.  I checked mine as well to verify.  Same thing happening to me

my box has 4.0.489 11/11/21 on it
