Yes I would also like a option to add a external player like MX Player and VLC to all streams also if possible to change the player for each stream. 

i dont know for sure but you just cant take someones player and use it without licensing agreements

@nbs. VLC and MX Player and VIMU Player and Nova Player are Open Source Android Video Players that can play streams on them if you put a stream in them.

We ar not asking BuzzTV to put them in the BuzzTV App just a option to be able to add third party Video players Like the Smarters App gives a option for you to be able to add 3rd party Video in a single stream or global to all the streams in the settings menu.

The built in Default player on the Buzz app is VLC already.

Its LIBVLC

 

We can look at adding a feature to support external players though in a future update.
It will only work if you have other players installed on your box though.

that would be great news. be able to use another type reader NOVA , VIMU etc....

Yes basically the way it will work is you will be prompted with Android pop up asking which player to use and then option for Always/Just Once.

You will need to have NOVA VIMU etc installed on the box in order to use them.

I only see this working well for VOD + TV Series

As it would be very annoying for Live TV.  This is just my opinion, not sure what you think though.

I thought that might have been the case but I wasn't sure I was also thinking it could be the Exo Player

I think the secondary player is the Exo player but that's just a guess

Its a custom player.
