Its working now. I think it rebooted and lost connection then took a few tries to get it back. Its a 1tb samsung T7. It works on all my devices so its not a power issue.

Like the title says External Storage no longer recognized. It was working fine but now cant get it to connect. I do get a pop up from File Manager plus if i want it to open the drive but it wont show up on the device.

Sure is just installed on g series and I didnt sideload. Direct from Playstore. Id post a pic of it in the playstore but im not sure thats allowed.

Not being argumentative but several of those apps are still on gogle play

I have several apps installed on the device right now that allow me to record to the NAS via smb. Tivimate is one. Not sure why it would be so difficult. I also have a Formuler z11 pro max, Invidia Shield and ONN 4k Pro and those same apps all record to my NAS via SMB.

Yes. They added recording but only to USB connected storage or SD

Will external storage be available via smb? I have a server that I would like to connect for storage. I can do this via similar apps on other Google devices like the ONN 4K Pro
