If you go to PVR Options, there's one called "Force USB TS on/off". Does anyone know what this does?

Just an update. I spoke directly to Buzz. They are working on a fix to address this issue and hope to have a firmware update sometime this summer.

I think they all buffer occasionally. I'm just curious why Buzz set it up to work that way instead of just letting it record through the buffer.

Is there any workaround for the problem of the PVR stopping because of a buffer?

Is anyone else having problems with the functionality on some apps ex. Disney+, DAZN, Hoopla, etc. They come in OK but some features don't work or the lettering is over/under sized.

Checked my speed and it's only 104 Mps so I'll look for a faster speed.

...what causes freezing? Is it the STB? the household wifi quality? the subscription? Without knowing, I don't know where to start.

Problem solved! I was about to return the STB to the store so I figured I'd try one more thing. I hit settings/reset, loaded my script back on, and everything appears to be working great....full epg, recording nicely, and playing back correctly. I'm not sure what the problem was but it's gone. Thanks to the folks who helped.

Still issues. I can't select a program from the epg because since I went to Buzz 5, my epg hasn't populated. When I do menu, pvr, etc..it gives me a recording that only lasts seconds per my original post. The STB is less than 30 days old so I can still return it I think. Maybe I got a lemon.

That worked for immediate recording but how would I set up the STB for recording later in the day?

I'm hitting the rec button and then setting it up for 10 minutes.

I'm using Buzz 5 now but still have recorder issues. When I set it to record a 10 minute segment, the playback that I get is only about 10 seconds. Still need help.
