Like Phones and Computers

The OS + some pre installed apps takes up space of the internal storage.

On the 16GB that comes on the XR 4000

A brand new box has about 9.8GB of free space

I had boxes where it hit 9g out of 9.8G and the box starts to lock up

i tried uninstalling the apps and the storage never moved

I ended up do a factory reset

It probably shows in MBs because it doesn't go above 1GB, which would be 1000+MB

Some of the test boxes we have here, are using about 75% of the available storage and run fine 24/7 for 12 months now.
