Brutal buffering and freezing..

Featured Replies

Just purchased this box and trying to figure out why it runs so poorly? I have a Formuler Z11 with the same provider and the channels run smoothly and load extremely fast with the formuler..

Running the L1 with the same provider and Internet (hardwired), this box is constantly freezing and buffering. Is this common for this box? Is there a fix for this problem?

I use my L1 with 3 different providers and zero buffering on any of them. I use it wired, but I have tried it wirelessly also and no issues.

First thing I would do, since it is new, is try a factory reset and redo the setup (just in case). Secondly, provide a little more info, are you using MAC/XC/M3U type sub ? Also go into the settings screen and provide what firmware/software version numbers you are using.

Even though the L1 is pretty damn quick for the entry level box, please keep in mind that it IS the entry level product, it is not a flagship product like some of the Z11 were costing 2 or 3 times the price of the L1. Also keep in mind that the network "may" be quicker on wireless, that wired on this box, since the Ethernet is only a 10/100 NIC, while the wireless is a dual-band AC. However most IPTV do not need more than 100Mbps anyhow.

Sorry I set it up on both xtreme code, and Mac. Same results. I'll definitely try going wireless. And running a factory reset. Does changing the buffer size make a difference? I also understand it's not a flagship product. But changing channel's it plays for 2 seconds the freezes for 30seconds then plays Internet speeds are 500/500
