I've been noticing that some movies on the vod have a choppy/jittery playback. Is this just an issue with the specific movie of is there a setting that can be changes to try and rectify it? The most recent movie is the matrix resurrection. Thats the most recent example.

go to vod and press menu, configuration

I went to vod, pressed menu and went to configuration. Under video player it says "secondary". When I clicked on that buzztv froze and had go restart the app

So did you try secondary player?

I did. Same issue.

It could be a server/box conflict or the server

You could install stbemu and test your service with it That way you would know 

change player to default and display to 1080p60hz worked for me
