Hi, you told me in private message to post my issue on the forum about the app I use for IPTV. The IPTV moded app I have keeps nagging me to update it. I did not download it from the Play Store or Aptoide. I have the XRS4500 box with version 5 firmware.

I'm a jerk for asking a simple question? The forums are to help people who ask for help but I only get narcissist too cool for school replies and i'm the jerk. Dude you guys are the one who's funny. Anyways the app I have installed is not under the category app permissions/notification access. You say it is there to stop app updates but I don't see a toggle to stop apps from updating like other Anroid boxes. My BuzzTV box has Version 5 firmware.

Hello fellow haters, well on the Firestick and other Android boxes there is a built in feature to stop apps from nagging you to update/upgrade. So it is possible just not on the BuzzTV boxes. The BuzzTV people could add the feature to just like the rest because these IPTV streaming boxes/sticks are all using Android. Later Haters!

Hi, I would like to know how to stop an IPTV moded app I installed keeps nagging me to update it and since it's moded why does it still do it? There should be a feature built in to the BuzzTV box to stop apps from updating.

Hi, well now that I have upgraded my 4500 box to Beta 5 I can't schedule a recording. When I press the red button to record a pop up says to grant permission which I do and then a Buzztv 5 app menu just appears on the right side. What do I do?
  6. Yes
  7. Hi, I always had HDMI CEC off on my TV's.
  8. Hi, I appreciate all the help but i'm getting all the wrong answers back. On the BuzzTV remote the green button is suppose to shut the BuzzTV box on and off. My remote doesn't do that. It doesn't do anything when I press the green button . So the green button is obviously broken. Instead I get replies that my tv is the issue. I connected the BuzzTV box to 3 different tv's and the green button still doesn't do anything. So this is why I am getting agitated. I definitely need the broken or defective remote replaced. My TV's is NOT the issue of the BuzzTV remote not working.
  9. Hi, well what does my TV have to do with a remote that is obviously broken or defective?
  10. Hi, I contacted BuzzTV about my remote issue and I got this retarded answer from them: this is most likely the issue the red button should turn the tv off and if you have cec enabled and a newer tv the tv will send the cec code to the STB to turn off or on. REALLY? I need a replacement dammit.
  11. Hi, I just got the XR4500 BuzzTv box and my remote isn't able to shut the STB off. My remote doesn't shut off the STB when pressing the green STB button on the remote. When I press the green stb button the light on the remote doesn't turn on. Would appreciate your help.
