retiree Posted September 3 Posted September 3 I have 2.4 wireless and 5 wired will these boxs work with both I had problems with the 5k and had to get the 2.4 k line install after that it worked good but it is only wireless. I had the Bell installed and had problems I only had the 5 k at this time I could not hook up my security cameras as they were 2.4 only so I contacted Bell and they installed the 2.4 for me . Connected cameras ok and my boxs (2) are working ok on the 2.4 So just wondering if these work on the 5 Quote
Ryu Posted September 3 Posted September 3 (edited) they work with both but 5g is better faster but shorter range. 2.4g still good, slower than your 5g but slightly longer range. so hardwires is the best, 5g is preferred over 2.4 as 2.4 is last option for me. Edited September 3 by Ryu 3 Quote
