Hello,

I have a BuzzTV X5 AX-C. I'm trying to install and get Crave app to run. I can install it, when when I try to run it, I see the Crave logo and then it crashes and I get dumped back to the Buzz menu. I've tried many things to get this to work:

  • I've tried installing the most recent version(s), and older version(s).
  • I've tried using different app stores like Aptoide, Uptodown, APKmirror. I haven't tried Play Store (I don't want to log in) but I have tried Aurora (but it's not available in that store).
  • Tried rebooting.

Note: Strangely, when installed, the app does NOT appear in Settings > Apps (I went there to try to clear cache). I uninstall the App using the icon on the BuzzTV desktop.

Can anybody help?

Thanks in advance!

which versions have you tried?

C&P

Turns out, the newest version of the app that will actually play a video is 3.0.65, but in that version and older ones the thumbnails of shows and movies will not load, so the app is only text until you start playing something. It's not a perfect solution but at least it works to play something. I'm not sure is every incompatible android device will work with 3.0.65, but maybe someone with a different device can pitch in.

I've tried 7.8.2 (latest), and also: 7.8.1, 7.8.0, 7.7.0.

3.0.65 works though (but without thumbnails)? Thanks for the info! Yeah... not ideal, but at least it's a solution! Can I ask, how did you find that out, and do you know if is this a BuzzTV-specific issue?
