September 11, 20233 yr I have recently purchased a new X5 model. It has been working fine, but on the weekend, it failed to startup, and only show a black screen. I have re-booted the box, but no improvement Any assitance would be appreciated. John
September 11, 20233 yr what color light do you see on front of the box? does color change when you press power button on remote control? try to remove hdmi cable on both ends and insert again. try a different hdmi port if available and try a different hdmi cable if possible. if nothing works then factory reset box from AV hole using toothpick.

September 12, 20233 yr Author I have tried all of the reset suggestions, but no sucess. I did read a post yersterday that there is no fix for this problem on my model, but the post has disappeared.
