	Hi everyone

	I dont record much, but later today I want to. I select the channel, and put the show on, hit the red button and a grey message appears Task 'CHANNEL' [SHOW] has been added

	it shows up in my scheduled menu under PVR, but not recordings.  I have tried setting a manual recording as well, nothing happens.

	A red symbol shows up in the guide that I am recording- I think?
</p>

	I have searched high and low for a similar thread, but nothing.
</p>

	Theres a setting somewhere I need to change....
</p>

	I bought this unit about 3 or 4 weeks ago. From the beginning it said YouTube is not supported on this device. I've seen a lot of other models with the same issues and perhaps they're being fixed perhaps or not. But I would like an update on this particular model when this will be fixed. We phoned in gave them our Mac address. Told him about the issue. We're told they'd get back to us and we've heard crickets.

	We were going to return it and support convinced us that this would be a non-issue.

	BTY I also have a classic and it works just fine.

	Live tv.  Video freezes after 20 seconds.  Audio still plays.  Up or down channel then back video will play for 20 seconds and freezes again.  Unplug and plug back in does not fix the problem.  Cleared all caches I could find, no change.  Hard wired.

	Cloned the mac to my 3900 It plays with no problem.  Both hooked up to the same tv same channel at the same time.   Swap hdmi ports makes any difference.
</p>

<p>
	I would do a reset but I do not know how to save my kodi favorites.  (would be a royal pita to enter every thing again)
</p>

<p>
	My u5 died just after the warranty ran out, this one is getting close to the end of warranty.

	I have buffering on my buzz ss box I tried everything that I can thing of with a lot of help here and I thank everyone who helped. I have started to think that it may be my sub, I have 2 different ones but they both use the same system to operate so if I have problems with one its the same for both. so actually, I have only 1 , I also have diff boxs and they all buffer. So my question is where is the better places to buy a subscription Do you go by price or how do you pick there are many I only pay $100 for 4 years to each sub I cannot complain about the price but the buffering is not nice sometimes I cannot even watch a show its bad and other times it works 4 hours or so before it starts. My internet speed is good 190 . This problem was in Florida and back here in Canada. I have a B5 , 5x ss, T2 boxes  The only common thing is my subscriptions. Should I go elsewhere?

	Anyone having freezing problems I have tried everything I did factory reset the other day it worked great for two days now back to freezing about every 5-10 minutes .I have 2 suppliers and both freeze I also have  a T2 box which is about 5 years old and it freezes also but not like the SS maybe once in a while So its not the internet Its hard wired cat 6 wire,I tried diff. players,using Mac servers,clear cashe,re set everythig the only thing that helped was the factory reset, Need help

	Just got the latest X5-SS box and connected it to my new TCL 98Q672 TV. This is plugged in directly into the TV with the supplied HDMI cable. My Onkyo receiver is eARC connected.  I have AppleTV also hardwired into the other HDMI port on the back of the TV.  Everything is connected via Ethernet (no WiFi). 
</p>

<p>
	At boot up, I paired the BT-400 remote and continued with the necessary updates. All went ok as expected. But at boot up, I only get 720P resolution. Tried rebooting, unplugging and re-plugging, tried the 3 different HDMI ports on the TV and also tried another HDMI 2.1 cable for kicks but nothing seems to work. I took the same X5-SS box and connected it to my older Samsung HDTV 1080P and at boot up the resolution on the X5-SS box comes up as 1080P as expected. No issues.

	I connected the X5-SS back to the TCL and rebooted - no go...same 720P issue. I called BuzzTV tech support, and after multiple attempts was finally able to talk to an agent. Tried all these same steps again - no go. He finally walked me thru Erasing and Resetting the X5-SS. Did that as well - still no go. The tech support agent was stumped as well and said he'll escalate to advance tech support and someone will be call me within 24 hours. It's now been 5 days and no call. Left multiple msgs, vm, and also via Chat - no response.
</p>

	Before I finally request an RMA to return the unit, wanted to see if anyone here can help troubleshoot this issue.
</p>

	I just bought a X5 SS and to be honest I'm not very impressed.
</p>

<p>
	I have two other android boxes, an Nvidia Shield and a Humax freeview android box. On both these boxes I have TiVimate installed and it works perfectly, I can even record on the shield but the lack of space means I can't record much.
</p>

<p>
	I bought the X5 SS primarily for the abilty to record with more disk space, however I find I am unable to record anything at all. I did wonder if it is because I only have 1 connection on my sub and maybe BuzzTV doesn't like that, so I installed TiVimate on the X5 SS and set it up as I have on my shield but that will not record either.
</p>

<p>
	I can't find anything in the Buzz TV app that asks for permission to write to disk or USB, so I'm guessing it is granted automatically.
</p>

<p>
	Finally, a seperate issue, I thought I would install Kodi, and connect my 4tb external hard drive that works perfectly on my other boxes. But the X5 SS will not connect. If I go to storage it just says elements is disconnected.
</p>

<p>
	Does this box not recognize a 4tb disk or is it because it is formatted NTFS.
</p>
