I know I can install my apps individually on another P6 and then backup/restore (export/import) data for some of those apps individually but I would like to copy my entire app setup from one P6 to another.

I try to keep things simple with just the following apps installed but it still takes a lot of work to repetitively install and set all of them up on additional P6s. My apps: IPVanish, Projectivy, Tivimate, Stremio, SmartTube.

I have read the following topic but it only applies to BuzzTV6.

When I hit guide on the buzz remote it kicks me to my server settings. I select the server and it shows it refreshing etc then goes to the guide, but no info. can't see any shows ahead or behind? Doesnt matter which server I use. same issue. I use the 3 line button on the remote to refresh and nothing changes. Goes back to single channel.

 

Thoughts?

Well it didn't work out that way, and I will be moving in a different direction. I purchased a BuzzTV Classic and it works flawlessly. Same account, same provider. Catchup works, channel change works, basically everything just works. That doesn't seem like too much to ask of a TV box.

I am not sure why you were not able to get the P6 working equally as well after almost 2 years, but you have not.

I go thru the process of recording a baseball game last night. I turned the box off and started it back up about an hour later, I like to do this with a well known streaming app that has Live TV channels so that I can skip over the commercials. I am able to watch the game from the beginning while the recording continues. I turned the box back on went to the recording to watch while I assumed that I could do the same thing and it stopped recording at the time I turned the Box back on?? what's up with that? I would think you shouldn't have to keep the box off to complete a recording.

I have started a separate topic on the subject here to bring focus on the issue in one place. Also, my family members have grown to despise the PS6 and long for the simpler days of Fire Sticks connected to all our screens (ugh!!) so I feel the need to resolve this somehow.

As described in other topics here, we have a Yamaha AVR. This seems to be common with some (but not all) others also having difficulty.

It would be quite helpful to hear from you if you are successfully using an AVR with a PS6. Specifically, what make and model of AVR?

Sound bars don't seem to cause problems, just AVRs, so I don't think identifying sound bar/AVR combinations will be helpful.

Success would be defined as: PS6, TV and AVR consistently functioning entirely as they are intended using just the BT-500 remote, including power on/off and volume.

So I have a new P6 and am experiencing something I find strange.  Every morning my tv is turned on automatically since the connection of the P6 Ultimate and have been unable to find any setting that controls this feature. So fare the only method to keep the tv powered off until required is to unplug the HDMI cable.

 

Any ideas to fix would be appreciated.

However, my tv screen constantly blinks. Sometimes this happens every 30 seconds or so and sometimes it blinks every couple of minutes. This issue has never occurred before with my tv and only started when using the buzztv device. I have done the following to fix this issue: 1.) unplugged and switched out the hdmi cord (tried 2 different hdmi cords), 2.) plugged the hdmi cord into a different hdmi outlet on the tv, 3.) unplugged the buzztv device and started it back up to restart the system. However, none of these have worked to fix the constant tv screen blinking. The tv screen blinking is very quick but has become annoying and I’m not sure what else to do. Maybe there is something in the settings to fix this or perhaps it’s a hardware malfunction with the buzztv device. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated

I have all power saving functions turned off on the TV and PS6. This is really frustrating knowing I could have bought a much cheaper Android based hardware box for how it performs and now this which is making the device unusable in my opinion. Hooked my old Nvidia Shield Pro 2019 up and no issues at all. 

 

Any thoughts?
